Catholic Peace Building Training Seminar in Cagayan de Oro City

2nd Catholic Peacebuilding Training to be held on May 15-21, 2011 in Cagayan de Oro City


The Mindanao-Sulu Pastoral Conference Youth Secretariat, under its Interreligious Dialogue Program, will spearhead the 2nd Catholic Peacebuilding (CPB) Training for Youth Formators on May 15 - 21, 2011 at the Betania Retreat House, Malasag, Cagayan de Oro City.

It is in partnership with Pax Christi Pilipinas (PCP), a national movement based in Bacolod City.

The CPB Training aims to train youth formators who will, in turn, be equipped to echo the training to the young people. It is also an answer to the challenge in serving the youth ministry, especially in the multi-cultural island of Mindanao.

This year's training will have 20 participants from the different dioceses in Mindanao and from the Diocese of Bacolod. The participants are selected and endorsed by their respective DYAs.

The training will be team facilitated by Pax Christi Pilipinas members.
